Salento I.G.P. Red Wine Grape variety: Primitivo; Merlot. Territory: all vineyards are cultivated in the Salento wine producing area. Alcohol content: 14% by vol. Fermentation and wine-making notes: initial stage of fermentation with maceration into inox steel tanks at thermocontrolled temperature for 15 days. Features: warm and velvety taste, with a powerful structure, rubin red coloured verging to violet offers intense, persistent and harmonic aromas with hints of vanilla and ripe fruits. Ageing: refined into barriques. Recommendation: Ideal with roasted veal meat and beef, hunting meat and ripe cheeses. Serving temperature: 16 °C.
